The Easy Crete story began when Kurt Gysi established Easycrete Concrete Pumping, operating a fleet of concrete pumps throughout Melbourne. His son Mark, now at the helm of Easy Crete Industries (ECI), learned the trade from the ground up, starting as a linesman and operator before mastering pump mechanics under his father’s guidance.
In the early 1990s, we transformed our business model, transitioning from concrete pumping operations to specialized maintenance services. This strategic shift positioned ECI as a pioneer in Melbourne’s concrete pump maintenance sector, filling a crucial gap in the industry during a time when such expertise was scarce in the region.
