About Us

Family Owned Australian Company

As early as 1988, Kurt Gysi purchased his first concrete pump. A fleet of concrete pumps was owned and operated by Easycrete Concrete Pumping, which was founded in 1988.

Upon following in his father's footsteps, Mark Gysi began working on concrete pumps as a linesman and operating boom pumps at a very young age.

In the early days of his career, Mark gained experience and knowledge servicing concrete pumps under the guidance of his father.

Concrete pump mechanics were almost nonexistent in Melbourne during the 1980s and 1990s. In most cases, people in Melbourne would travel to Sydney for major repairs.

Founded in the early 1990's, Easy Crete Industries (ECI) specialized in the maintenance of concrete pumps right after selling off the pumping business.

Over the years, Easy Crete has been the distributor for Jacon's concrete pumps, and they still service their loyal customers who still own the brand today.

By the mid-1990's, ECI had become the official Transcrete agent for Victoria and Tasmania. The most reliable concrete line pumps available on the market, and they are in great demand in Australia.

Easy Crete had the pleasure of building a custom pump for their loyal customer according to their specifications, as well as a couple of Jacon pumps.

During 2005 Mark began training with Transcrete and worked under the founders and managing directors Ian and Anthony Hay. Mark plays a significant role in Transcrete and contributes to the development of new ideas and designs.

ECI's staff are the only trained and accredited Transcrete pump mechanics in Victoria. Over 200 pumps have been sold by ECI since it became the distributor for Transcrete in Victoria and Tasmania.

It was in 2013 that ECI became a representative for Sermac S.r.l. Italy, selling Boom pumps and accessories. Sermac has global operations in more than 70 countries. What a wonderful opportunity for Easy Crete to serve as an agent and import the Italian Boom pumps into Australia. Mark has received training from Sermac Italy and has a wealth of experience in troubleshooting and mechanical repair.

In the field of sales and spare parts, Tonnette has over 20 years of experience.

A concrete pump technician for over twenty years, Mark has a wide range of experience in maintenance, technical troubleshooting, electrical, spare parts, and pump sales.

The company is based in Carrum Downs, and after a period of time, Mark & Tonnette purchased a second factory, which would allow them to carry a larger stock and accessories.

Tonnette and Mark are dedicated to their work and offer high quality, 100% customer service to their clients.

As a result of their loyal customers, Easy Crete has grown rapidly, and through “word of mouth” the company has gained new customers and the loyalty of existing customers continues to grow.

This is a family-owned and operated business owned and operated by Mark & Tonnette Gysi.

Friendly support and professional service!
